Make a birthday photo strip in three easy steps
A tiny photo booth gives guests something to do together—and leaves the birthday person with a set of imperfect, brilliant memories.
1. Choose a corner
Find a place with even light and enough space for two or three people. A wall, curtain or colourful table can be all the background you need.
2. Give guests a reason to pose
Put out a small card with prompts such as “recreate the birthday person’s first profile photo” or “make the most serious face possible”. Prompts help shy guests start without making the activity feel like a performance.
3. Let the strip be the favour
