Privacy Policy
The short version: your pet records live on your device and sync through your own iCloud account. PawKeep has no servers of its own, no account, no analytics, and no tracking. We never see your data.

What data the app handles — and where it stays
- Pet records. Pets, vaccinations, medications, symptoms, weights, vet visits, and notes are stored in the app's database on your device and synced via Apple CloudKit to your personal iCloud account — infrastructure run by Apple under your Apple ID, governed by Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it.
- Documents and photos. Paperwork photos you add are stored the same way — on device, synced to your iCloud. The app can only access photos you explicitly pick.
- Family sharing. When you share a pet, Apple's CloudKit sharing sends those records to the people you invite — and only them. You control permissions and can stop sharing at any time. We are not a party to the share.
- Export. CSV export creates a file on your device that you choose where to send.
What we collect
Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporters, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data.
Purchases
The optional PawKeep Family subscription is processed entirely by the App Store. Apple handles the payment and shares no payment details with us. If you cancel, your data stays on your device untouched.
Support email
If you email us for support, we see your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply, and we don't add you to any list.
Not veterinary advice
PawKeep is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your vet about your pet's health.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone — including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Because the app collects nothing, changes are unlikely to be substantive.
