Bayside Customs
Build the car, then test drive it · Free simulation game for your browser
You're the mechanic at Bayside Customs, the garage on the Old Port in Sunset Bay, Fare Frenzy's city, and every customer drives in with a wish list: the family wants seven seats, a big boot and a comfy ride; the racer wants 0 to 100 in under five seconds; the farmer wants an open tray and chunky off-road tyres; Grandpa wants it quiet and classic. Build their car from real parts on the turntable: the body, the engine (a little three-cylinder, a turbo four, a V8, a hybrid or an electric motor), front, rear or all-wheel drive, the tyres, the springs, the wheels and the wing, then paint it and pick a livery. Every part changes the numbers, and nothing cheats: a wing grips in the corners and costs speed on the straight, slicks are fast and spill the coffee on the cobbles. Then prove it, and watch it drive: the dyno roars on the rollers, the drag strip on the quay counts down its start lights to 0 to 100 and the 200 metres, the cones course shows how it grips and leans, and the cobbles slop a coffee on the dashboard. What you watch is the car's own run, the same numbers the customer judges, so a car behaves the same on every device. Hand over the keys and the customer says what they think: three stars for the brief, the budget and every wish. Shifts open more parts as you go; spend your wages on a parts discount, a faster lift and tyre warmers; save your favourite builds in My dream cars as codes to share; play the Daily brief and keep your stars and badges in the Job Passport. Pro adds the performance parts (the Sports, Super and Hyper bodies, the V10, the V12 and the Bolt motor, slicks, air suspension and big aero), the special finishes (pearl, matte, chrome and colour-shift) and unlimited dream cars. Made for everyone from about six up, with Relaxed mode, reduced motion and every part explained in words.
Build each customer's car from real parts: the body, the engine, the drive, the tyres, the springs, the wheels and the aero, then the paint and a livery Prove it in 3D: the dyno, the drag strip with its start lights, the cones course and the cobbles with a coffee on the dashboard Exact car physics: what you watch is the car's own run, the same numbers the customer judges, on every device Twelve bodies from a tiny bubble car to a hypercar, tap a part to see it close up and what it does Shifts that open more parts, upgrades, the Daily brief, My dream cars as shareable codes and the Job Passport
