Build a request with a method, URL, headers and body, send it from your browser, and read the status, time, size and response. Copy any request as a curl command.
A web page can only read responses from APIs that allow it (with CORS headers). Public APIs often do; many private ones don’t, and then the browser blocks the response. When that happens, Copy as curl gives you the same request to run in a terminal, where CORS doesn’t apply.
Straight from your browser to the address you type, and nowhere else: there’s no server in between that sees your headers or tokens.
Usually CORS (the API doesn’t allow web pages), a wrong address, or an http:// address on this https:// page. Copy as curl and try in a terminal.
With Dev Tools Pro you can save requests and use environment variables such as {{baseUrl}} and {{token}}.
