Hill Lane Homes
Plan a house, roof it, move them in · Free puzzle game for your browser
You're the builder at the Hillside plot in Sunset Bay, Fare Frenzy's city, and families need homes. Every house starts with a brief: who's moving in, how many bedrooms, what they wish for and the budget. Draw the rooms on the plot from corner to corner, put in doors and windows, and check the plan: every room big enough, a window in every bedroom, a door you can walk through to every room. Then the roof: draw a truss of timber beams over the house and test it. The tiles go on, the snow falls and the wind blows, and every beam glows from green to red with the load it carries; a roof that's too weak sags, creaks and caves in, and you try again. The physics are exact, so a roof behaves the same on every device, and every house comes with a plan and a roof we've proven earns three stars. Watch the house go up, then decorate it: paint every room, pick the floors, the outside and the front door, and place the beds, the sofa, the table and the garden. The family moves in and walks through every room, and their verdict gives the stars: what they asked for, within the budget, and how happy they are. Six first houses teach the job, then a new family every time; the Daily house is the same for everyone. Relaxed mode shows you a plan that works. Spend your wages on a surveyor, a faster mixer and a bigger catalogue, and keep your stars and badges in the Job Passport. Your houses go up on Hill Lane in Fare Frenzy, and the taxi can drive to them. Pro adds big houses with a study, a playroom or a utility room, the big catalogue, steel roof beams and free build. Made for everyone from about six up, with read-aloud, full keyboard play and reduced motion.
