Design for the second session by answering one question fast: what can this user finish right now?

- Show recent work immediately.
- Keep the primary action in the same location every time.
- Reduce confirmation steps for known user intent.
- End each session with a clear "next step" state.
Measure what matters
Track 7-day and 30-day return patterns for your core persona. If they do not return, do not add features. Fix re-entry first.
Build cue: Audit your home screen: does it reward returning users, or only greet new ones?
