# Sunset Bay Mayor: credits

The city, its roads, the buildings not listed here, the people, the sounds and everything else are made in code.

## Landmarks and vehicles (HD look, `props1/`, 2026-10-26)

From Sketchfab, under CC BY 4.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), the owner's OK 2026-10-26. Built by `sunset-bay-mayor-tools/props/build.sh` (downloads by `fetch.py`, kept in `sunset-bay-mayor-tools/props/dl/`, gitignored). The changes to every one: textures at most 512 px (the school's 1024 px), colour textures recompressed (JPEG, then KTX2; the ferry's colour swatch stays a JPEG); meshes joined a material at a time and plain-colour materials merged onto one small colour-swatch texture; turned so the front faces +Z, scaled to metres and moved so the origin is the middle of the footprint on the ground; meshopt. Each one is credited on screen too.

- `tram.glb` (the tram): "Gravity-Tram | [Stylized]" (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/2ecd4b30d1244c029d41bab2602227d3) by XimovsYZ (https://sketchfab.com/ximovsstudio). Also changed: the glowing hover rings under it removed.
- `ferry.glb` (the ferry): the passenger ferry from "6 Low Poly Boats" (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/78014a140a00474f99f41f6b9b5fe4f7) by @sanyabeast (https://sketchfab.com/sanchibbo). Also changed: the other five boats of the set removed.
- `school.glb` (the school): "school building" (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/d34ac09a3ca544df999485c4b311abcc) by swjeta (https://sketchfab.com/swjeta). Also changed: simplified to about 13 k triangles (from 20 k), and drawn a little taller than its 60 m length suggests.
