Before importing
- Can you explain why each person is relevant?
- Do you have a lawful, documented reason to contact them?
- Does the file include email, name, company and useful context?
- Have you removed duplicates, old addresses and people who opted out?
Before writing
- Is the subject specific rather than clever?
- Does the first sentence prove the message is personal?
- Is there one clear question or next step?
- Can the recipient understand who you are in a few seconds?
Before queueing
- Has SMTP passed a real smoke test?
- Is the daily cap conservative for this mailbox?
- Have you previewed several personalised messages?
- Are unsubscribe and sender details configured for your use case?
After the first reply
- Pause follow-ups for the person who replied.
- Classify opt-outs and suppress them immediately.
- Record what the reply teaches you before changing the whole campaign.
