Continue or restart

Continue story returns to your saved scene with collected clues and decisions intact. Start again clears that run's progress and notes, while preserving the endings you have discovered. Saves are local to this device.

Restore a story unlock

Open Settings and choose Restore Purchases while online, using the Apple Account that made the purchase. A Volume 1 unlock includes Night Desk and The Briefing That Wasn't. No subscription is required. TestFlight purchases use Apple's sandbox and do not establish an App Store purchase.

Read clues and solve puzzles

Tap a paper clue to open the larger reader. Evidence investigations require examining every record before choosing a lead. For placement puzzles, drag the item or select it and tap its target. Your notes remain available from the book button.

Audio and pauses

The story audio plays even with the silent switch on. Use the in-app mute control when you want silence. Pause story stops scene progression; Resume story continues it. Disconnecting headphones pauses the story so sound does not unexpectedly move to the speaker.

Accessibility

Clues and buttons support larger text. At accessibility text sizes the action panel can scroll. Reduce Motion limits scene effects, and Settings can disable atmosphere. Puzzle targets have VoiceOver labels and placement actions.

Offline play

The stories, images, movies and sounds are stored in the app. An internet connection is needed for purchasing and restoring stories.
