Small text generator

Tiny text from small capitals, superscript and subscript letters. Free, and nothing leaves your device.

How small text works

There is no smaller font size you can paste, so small text borrows small letters from Unicode: small capitals (ꜱᴍᴀʟʟ ᴛᴇxᴛ), superscript (ˢᵐᵃˡˡ ᵗᵉˣᵗ) and subscript (ₛₘₐₗₗ). Superscript is the tiniest; small caps is the easiest to read.

How to use it

  1. Type your text in the box at the top. Until you do, the styles show “tiny text”.
  2. The small text styles come first. Tap one to copy it; styles marked PRO are part of Fancy Text Pro.
  3. Paste it wherever you like: a bio, a caption, a comment or a message.

Questions

Why do some letters stay full size?

Unicode only has small versions of some letters. Superscript has no small q, subscript has no b, c, d, f, g, q, w, y or z, and small caps has no x, so those letters are left as they are.

Is tiny text readable?

Superscript is hard to read on a phone. Small caps stays legible, so use it for anything people need to read.
