Type the old number in From and the new number in to. The answer shows as a rise (+) or a fall (−). The page opens with 80 to 100, a rise of 25%. Sums are done in exact decimals (0.1 + 0.2 is 0.3) and shown in your own currency. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account.
Good for:
- Price rises and sale reductions
- Pay rises and rent increases
- Sales, traffic and growth figures

Questions
How do I work out a percentage increase?
Take the old number from the new one, divide by the old number and multiply by 100: from 80 to 100 is (100 − 80) ÷ 80 × 100 = 25%.
Why does a 25% rise then a 25% fall not get back to the start?
The fall is taken from the bigger number. 80 up 25% is 100, and 100 down 25% is 75, not 80.
