About Ink Notes
Ink Notes is a free Markdown notes app that styles your writing as you type. Organise notes with nested #tags, add todos, link notes with [[wiki links]], pick a font, and export or share as an image. It works offline and keeps everything in your browser. Ink Notes Pro adds more themes and fonts, a graph view and note templates.
Where are my notes stored?
Only in this browser on this device. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. Use Back up in Settings to save a file you can restore later or on another device.
Does it support Markdown?
Yes. Headings, bold, italic, highlights, lists, todos, quotes, code blocks and links are styled as you type, with a formatting bar on phones.
How do tags and links work?
Type #tag anywhere in a note; tags can be nested like #work/clients and appear in the sidebar. Link notes with [[Note title]]; Ink Notes Pro adds a graph view of the connections.
Can I share a note?
You can share a note as a styled image, export it as Markdown, plain text or HTML, or publish a read-only link. The link carries the note inside the URL itself, so there is no server copy.
Is Ink Notes free?
Yes. Every note feature, sharing, export, publish links and backup are free, with no ads and no account. Ink Notes Pro is an optional one-time upgrade ($2.99) that adds more themes and fonts, the graph view and note templates.
