Privacy and product policies in plain language.

These policies cover the Yuzool website and Yuzool apps unless an individual product page provides more specific terms. They explain what is collected, how purchases work and what responsible use means.

Scope

Yuzool is an independent app studio operated by Michael Frankland. This page applies to yuzool.com and the Mac and iPhone apps published by Yuzool. A product-specific privacy page or storefront term takes priority where it gives more precise information.

Website privacy

You can browse the public website without creating a Yuzool account. The website uses normal hosting infrastructure and Tinylytics to measure aggregate visits and selected button clicks. If you email support, Yuzool receives the address, message and attachments you choose to send and uses them to respond and maintain support records.

Yuzool does not sell personal information or build advertising profiles from app or website activity.

App data and integrations

Yuzool favours local-first storage, but behaviour differs by product. An app may store settings, documents, credentials or purchase state on your device. Credentials described as being stored in Keychain remain subject to Apple’s platform security and your device configuration.

When you connect an external service such as Google, Stripe, Polar, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy or App Store Connect, data is exchanged only as required for the feature you initiate. The external provider’s own privacy policy also applies. Review the relevant app page before connecting sensitive business data.

LevelUP stores quiz progress, favourites, settings and purchase unlock state locally on the device. Its purchases are processed through Apple StoreKit.

Purchases, downloads and refunds

Purchases may be processed by Apple, Stripe or Polar. Those providers handle payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. Yuzool does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Receipts, refunds, taxes, redownloads and purchase-history access are governed by the storefront used for the purchase. Polar customers can request access through the Yuzool Polar portal. For direct purchase help, email support@yuzool.com.

Software licence

A purchase grants the right to use the software under the licence and storefront terms supplied with that product. It does not transfer ownership of the app, source code, branding or associated intellectual property. Do not redistribute paid app files, licence access or purchase credentials without written permission.

Update availability and supported operating-system versions can change as Apple platforms and external services evolve. Any product-specific promise made at purchase remains subject to applicable consumer law.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Yuzool products for illegal, abusive, deceptive or privacy-invasive activity.
  • Do not attempt to bypass licensing, payment checks, service limits or security controls.
  • Do not use outreach features for purchased lists, harassment or unlawful unsolicited messaging.
  • Do not upload or connect information you do not have permission to process.
  • Do not impersonate Yuzool or redistribute Yuzool products as your own.

Changes and contact

These policies may be updated when products, providers or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version. Material product-specific changes will be reflected on the relevant app or support page where practical.

This page is intended to describe Yuzool’s actual operating practices clearly. It does not limit consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded in your country or region.
