Two wizards, one stone circle on a hilltop at dusk. Strafe to dodge and cast five spells: a fire bolt that sets them burning, a frost shard that chills (two freeze them solid), a wide water wave that soaks, fast lightning, and a shield. Combos win duels: soak your rival then shock them, freeze them then shatter the ice, or turn a soaked wizard to steam so their spells go wide. Raise your shield just before a spell lands and it flies straight back at whoever cast it. Fill your super meter and unleash your last element: a Meteor out of the sky, a Blizzard wall that freezes them, a Tidal wave across the circle, or a Thunderstorm that hunts them down. Dash through danger, knock their spells out of the air with the element that beats them, and when the same element meets head on, the beams lock in a clash: tap fast to drive it home. Runes, falling stars and a closing ring of fire keep every round moving. Best of three rounds against the Apprentice, the Adept and the Archmage, a seven-rival tournament with its own voices and taunts, a coached practice on a training dummy, a slow-motion replay of every winning blow, and a new challenger every day that pays Tokens. Effekseer's spell effects, a floor that scorches, frosts and puddles, simulated fire on computers, an announcer and the hilltop's wind and braziers.
