Privacy Policy — Cadence

1. Who we are

Cadence is developed and published by Yuzool (Michael Frankland), based in the United Kingdom. If you have any privacy questions, contact us at support@yuzool.com.

2. Data we collect

We collect nothing. Cadence does not collect, process, or transmit any personal information to Yuzool or any third party. Specifically:

No account or sign-in is required.
No analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs are included.
No advertising identifiers are accessed.
No usage data is sent to our servers — we have no servers for this purpose.

3. Your tasks and local storage

All tasks you create in Cadence are stored locally on your device using Core Data. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync (see section 4).

4. iCloud sync (optional)

If you turn on Sync with iCloud in Settings, your tasks are synced through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure using your own personal iCloud account.

The data is stored in your iCloud account, not ours.
Yuzool has no access to your iCloud data at any time.
Sync is entirely governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
iCloud sync is off by default and can be disabled at any time in Settings.

5. Purchases

Cadence is available as a one-time purchase through the Mac App Store (Apple) or directly through Polar. Any payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Polar respectively — Yuzool does not receive or store your payment details. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy or Polar's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle purchase data.

6. Children's privacy

Cadence does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected at all, Cadence is safe for use by any age group.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because we collect no data, we do not have a way to notify users directly — please check this page periodically if you are concerned.
