Start with what cannot move
Put meetings, travel, appointments and hard deadlines on the calendar first. Then look at the work time that remains. A plan that uses every empty hour will break as soon as a message takes longer than expected.
Choose three outcomes
Choose three things that would make the week meaningful. Give each one a next action small enough to begin. Everything else can live in a secondary list until you know the week has room.
Move the task, keep the intention
When a deadline moves, the task should move with it. Rewriting the same reminder creates the feeling of progress without changing the work. Cadence keeps the week visible so dragging a task forward becomes an honest decision.
Review the gap
At the end of the week, notice what repeatedly slips. The answer may be a smaller task, a clearer conversation or less work in progress. The board is useful because it shows patterns without requiring a productivity post-mortem.
