Honest take: Raycast AI is the deeper productivity suite. ChatGPT is the best general chat. Cloak is the smallest, fastest, most private of the three — for the 30-second questions you'd rather not type into a browser tab.
Type / in the input — filter as you go, ⏎ runs the top match.

Cloak is independent Mac software from the same studio behind Rank, Dispatch and Drip Send.
$19 through Polar. No Yuzool account, no subscription, no hosted AI service to keep paying for.
Questions, refunds and product help go straight to Yuzool support.
On-device providers stay on-device. Cloud providers are used only when you choose them and provide your own key.
Polar customers can request download and purchase access through the Yuzool updates portal.
Get Cloak with Rank, Dispatch, Drip Send, Cadence, future Yuzool Mac apps and included updates for the early bundle price of $99.
Not unless you choose a cloud provider (Claude/OpenAI) and send a message. Apple Intelligence and the local Llama run entirely on-device. Cloak makes no other network calls. No telemetry, no analytics, no "anonymous usage data." Ever.
Bring Your Own Key. You paste your Anthropic or OpenAI key into Cloak's Settings; it gets stored in the macOS Keychain (which is encrypted and only readable by Cloak itself). When you pick Claude or OpenAI as your provider, Cloak streams directly from their API using your key. You pay them, not me.
Because Cloak isn't a service — it's an app. The local providers cost you nothing to run. The cloud providers use your own keys. There's nothing on my side that needs to keep running. So pay once, own it.
Those are made for long, document-style conversations in a browser tab. Cloak is the opposite — a keystroke away, terminal-fast, ephemeral. Use it for the 30-second questions, the quick code recalls, the "what's the syntax for X again." When you want long-form, your subscription is still right there.
Almost always: no internet, or Hugging Face blocked by a corporate firewall/VPN. Re-try in Settings → Local Model. If you don't want a 1.9 GB download, just use Apple Intelligence — it's already on your Mac.
