Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026 · Applies to Palm for Mac and to apps built with Palm

The short version: Palm runs on your Mac. Your ideas, projects and generated apps stay on your Mac, and the AI runs locally. We have no accounts, no analytics inside Palm, and we never see your projects. Palm only contacts a service when you connect it, and only to do the thing you asked.

Who we are

Palm is built and operated by Michael Frankland (Yuzool), an independent developer. Contact: support@yuzool.com.

What stays on your Mac

When Palm connects to the internet

Palm contacts a third party only when you use the feature that needs it:

Those services have their own privacy policies. Palm never sends an email, post or publish without your explicit confirmation.

Apps built with Palm

By default, an app Palm generates stores its data on the user's device with SwiftData, has no accounts or servers, and contains no analytics or advertising. If you add features such as push notifications, location, camera, maps or a paywall, the app uses the matching Apple frameworks and the permissions you see in its settings. You are the publisher of any app you ship, so you are responsible for a privacy policy that matches what your finished app does. The policy on this page describes the default behaviour of an unmodified Palm-generated app.

Children

Palm is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes. Questions: support@yuzool.com.
