Footwork does not need a huge room. It needs a clear boundary, a stable stance and a reason for each step. Keep the pace easy enough that you can return to balance every time.
Three drills to try
01 / Stance reset Start in your stance. Take one small step in any direction, pause, then return to the same stance. Repeat for 60 seconds and keep your shoulders relaxed.
02 / Step and return Step just outside range, touch the floor with the lead foot, then return without crossing your feet. Add a single jab only after the step feels quiet.
03 / Angle step From stance, make a small diagonal step and turn your hips with it. Reset before repeating. The goal is control, not a dramatic pivot.
Make it a short session
Warm up first, then use three 60-second rounds with 30–60 seconds of rest. Film one round from the side if you want to review your balance. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or unusual symptoms; this is general training guidance, not medical advice or a replacement for a qualified coach.
