Step into frame
Framing guidance shows you where to stand so your whole body stays visible in an ordinary living room.
Prop up your iPhone and start shadowboxing. ShadowCoach counts every punch, measures speed and speaks up when your form slips, so a home session feels less like guessing.
Free download. Premium is currently $2.99 weekly or $14.99 lifetime in the US App Store.

Made for solo practice
A mirror can show your shape, and a timer can mark a round. Neither tells you how many punches landed, how fast they moved, or whether your hands came back to guard. ShadowCoach watches the session and responds while you are still training.

Jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts are recognised automatically while punch speed and pace build live.
Spoken cues call attention to dropped hands, chin position and hip rotation without making you stop the round.
Train in freestyle, follow called combinations, practise defence or copy an on-screen coach demonstration.
See punch balance, fastest shots, form score, pace and a frame-by-frame timeline after the bell.
Use four-week plans, custom combinations, streaks and weekly goals for fitness, technique or power.
Inside ShadowCoach
Live tracking during the round, useful numbers afterwards, and a training structure that works without turning your living room into a gym.

Why not a timer or video?
ShadowCoach is not a replacement for a qualified boxing coach. It is the missing feedback layer between coached sessions, especially when the alternative is practising alone with no signal at all.
Private by design
Camera analysis happens on your iPhone. ShadowCoach does not require an account, operate a cloud training database, or upload your live camera feed.
Questions before training
ShadowCoach is designed for real homes and ordinary solo sessions, but safe space and sensible expectations still matter.
No. An iPhone and enough safe space to move are enough. Apple Watch heart-rate streaming and Apple Health workout saving are optional additions.
ShadowCoach recognises jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts. It also checks signals such as guard position, chin tuck and hip rotation, and measures punch speed and pace.
No cloud upload is required for live coaching. Camera frames are analysed on-device. You can choose to export a replay or share a result using Appleās system sharing tools.
No. Camera detection can be imperfect, and the app cannot understand your health or complete technique like a qualified person can. It is designed to make solo practice more measurable between coached sessions.
The app is free to download. The US App Store currently lists weekly premium access at $2.99 and lifetime premium access at $14.99. Apple shows the final local price before purchase.
ShadowCoach requires iOS 17 or later. The optional Apple Watch companion requires watchOS 10 or later.
