ShadowCoach / combinations

Throw less. Notice more.

Beginner combinations work best when every punch returns to a balanced stance before the next idea begins.

Use these combinations as simple patterns, not a race. Start at half speed, keep your range comfortable and reset after each repetition. If the shape breaks, slow down.

Three beginner combinations

01 / Jab–cross reset Throw a straight jab and cross, bring both hands home, then take one calm breath. Repeat for 60–90 seconds.
02 / One–two–slip Jab, cross, then make a small slip to one side and return to stance. Keep the slip compact; it is a balance drill, not a deep bend.
03 / Jab–hook–cross Jab, lead hook, cross, then pause. Check that your feet and hips finish underneath you before starting again.

A useful round structure

Try three rounds: one slow technique round, one steady round and one round where you choose a single combination. Rest long enough to keep your shape. ShadowCoach can count punches and provide camera-based cues, but it cannot replace in-person coaching or medical advice.
