Expense app or trip workspace?
Splitwise’s official product description covers groups, friends, balances, equal or unequal splits, debt simplification, recurring expenses, offline mode, cloud sync and payment integrations. Its Pro feature list adds unlimited expenses, transaction import in selected markets, currency conversion, receipt scanning and itemization, charts, search and default splits. The help center currently says free accounts can add up to four expenses per day; Pro pricing varies by subscription type, country, date, taxes and offers, so there is no single dependable global price to print here.
Troupe keeps expense entries attached to the trip context: the dinner, booking or activity can sit beside its payer and the group balance. It also includes itinerary, booking import, packing, stored trip documents and offline access to saved trip details.
