How to keep up with App Store Connect sales on iPhone

A practical daily workflow for checking sales, proceeds, reviews and submissions without opening a full laptop dashboard.

App Store Connect contains the numbers you need, but it is not always the place you want to open for a two-minute check. A useful mobile routine is about noticing meaningful changes, not refreshing every graph.

A good daily pass: sales and proceeds, subscription movement, reviews, submission status, and one note about what changed.

Separate signal from noise

Start with the period you can act on. Yesterday is often more useful than a lifetime total when you are checking whether a release, listing change or promotion had an effect. Keep refunds and renewals visible so a sudden total does not tell the wrong story.

Reviews and submission status belong in the same loop because they change what you do next. A new review may reveal a confusing screenshot. A stalled submission may matter more than a small sales fluctuation.

Make the check repeatable

  1. Choose the app or group of apps you want to monitor.
  2. Review the latest sales and proceeds report.
  3. Look at new reviews and unanswered customer questions.
  4. Check release, submission and screenshot status.
  5. Write one sentence: “Today I noticed…”

The note is the part that compounds. After a few weeks, you can see which changes created movement and which were simply interesting.

Keep credentials local

Any App Store Connect API key should be treated like a production credential. Use least privilege, store it in the platform keychain, and never paste it into a web form or a free tool. A mobile dashboard is useful when it reduces context switching without making the trust boundary less clear.
