How to sell online free with Stripe payment links

A payment link is a checkout page for one product that Stripe, PayPal or another provider makes for you. Shop Maker puts your products in a free online shop with a Buy button for each one that opens its payment link, so you take orders without a monthly fee, an account or a shop platform.

Make a Stripe payment link

  1. In your Stripe Dashboard, open Payment Links and press + New.
  2. Add the product: its name, price and a picture. Turn on Let customers adjust quantity if they might buy more than one.
  3. If you post it, tick Collect customers’ addresses.
  4. Press Create link and copy it. It starts https://buy.stripe.com/.

PayPal, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Square and Ko-fi all make product links too, and they all work the same way in your shop.

Put your products in a shop

  1. Open Shop Maker and pick a template, or start blank.
  2. Add a product: a picture, a name, a price and a few words. Put a sale price in Was to show it on sale.
  3. Paste its payment link. Shop Maker shows who takes the payment, like “Pay with Stripe”, under the button.
  4. Add your delivery and returns details and your email, so people can ask questions.
  5. Tap Share for a link or a QR code for your stall, or download your shop and put it online at your own address.
No payment link yet? With your email in the shop, products without a link get an Ask to buy button that emails you about them.

What it costs

Shop Maker takes nothing from your sales and has no monthly fee. Your payment provider charges its usual fee for each payment. A free shop holds twelve products; Shop Maker Pro ($2.99 once) holds up to 100.

Yes: hold the product and choose Mark sold out. It stays in your shop with its button switched off.

Can I use my own domain?
