The job Cloak replaces
Many AI questions are tiny: a command, an error, a rewrite, a syntax check, a quick explanation. Opening a browser tab or a large AI workspace can feel heavier than the question deserves.
Cloak gives those moments a small, summonable surface. Press Command Shift Space, ask the question, use the answer, and get back to work.
Who it is for
Developers, writers, builders and terminal-minded Mac users who want quick answers from a keyboard-first utility.
Why not a generic chat app?
Generic chat apps are better for long sessions. Cloak is intentionally smaller: fast prompts, provider choice and a clear boundary.
What makes it different
Provider choice is visible
Use Apple Intelligence or local Llama when you want local prompts. Choose Claude, OpenAI or Gemini with your own key when the cloud model is the right tool.
The interface stays small
Cloak is designed for short prompts and quick exits, not for turning every question into another workspace.
No telemetry layer
Cloak does not add Yuzool accounts, analytics or usage tracking. Cloud model requests only happen when you choose a cloud provider.
Agents for coding workflows
The Agents panel can dispatch Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Cursor Agent in parallel from a project folder when you want coding-agent work to run side by side.
Data, price and support
Cloud API keys are stored in macOS Keychain. Local providers stay local. Cloak is a one-time $19 purchase through Polar, with direct Yuzool support.
When Cloak is not the right fit
If you want long research sessions, file-heavy conversations, persistent project memory or a full productivity launcher, a broader AI app may be better. Cloak is for the fast, terminal-shaped AI moment.
