Many people save screenshots as a form of memory: a concert poster, a delivery window, a recipe, a message with an address, a product they may want to sell. The problem comes later, when the image is still there but the reason for saving it has disappeared. SnapDo gives supported screenshots a path from capture to action.
How to turn a screenshot into a task
- Choose a screenshot, photo or copied text in SnapDo.
- Let on-device recognition identify supported information.
- Select a suitable action template and review the suggested fields.
- Edit the output, then save, share or send it to a supported Apple workflow.
An event poster might become a calendar entry; a short list could become a checklist; a marketplace photo can start a sale listing. The important step is the review: OCR can misread small or decorative text, and the owner should confirm dates, locations and names before relying on them.
Why not just keep screenshots in Photos?
Photos is excellent for keeping images, but a screenshot does not automatically remind you to go somewhere or finish a task. SnapDo is not trying to replace Photos or become a full project manager. It adds a structured next step to the visual information you already captured, then leaves the resulting fields editable.
