What shipped
Dispatch 1.5.12 adds a Mac App Store pre-flight workflow and platform comparison. The pre-flight checks focus on Mac-specific release details such as sandboxing, hardened runtime, arm64 support and screenshots. Platform comparison lets a developer compare a niche side by side across iOS and Mac before committing to the next build.
That is the feature description. The useful launch question is narrower: does it help someone catch a mistake or make a better platform decision before the submission button?
The mini-launch loop
1. Show the job
Start with the pre-flight screenshot and the exact release risk, not a list of every feature in Dispatch.
2. Let people try it
The Mac trial is the product proof. No signup or card is needed to open the workflow.
3. Ask one question
Which App Store or platform decision is still slowing down your next launch?
4. Ship the language
Use the replies to improve the next screenshot, guide and release note instead of guessing at a larger campaign.
Why this belongs in the public log
Dispatch is one of the tools I use to prepare Yuzool releases, so the release should be observable as a workflow, not just a version number. The same principle applies to Rank: show the decision, the evidence and the next check. A quiet update can still be useful distribution if it gives a real problem a clear entry point.
What I’m measuring
- Visits to the Dispatch page from this recap.
- Trial downloads and clicks into the pre-flight feature.
- Visits to the iPhone companion, Dispatch Kun.
- Replies that name a specific launch or App Store problem.
No download or sale is being claimed yet. The first job of this page is to make the update findable and give the next conversation somewhere concrete to start.
Try the launch workflow
Prepare the next App Store release from one Mac workspace.
Dispatch combines niche research, ASO, screenshots, pre-flight checks and launch notes without sending the project into another monthly dashboard.
