Focus Games
Eight attention games and a calm Focus mode: a minute of breathing, then two short games before you start the thing that matters.
The attention games
- Colour Clash: name the ink, not the word (the Stroop test).
- Arrows: which way does the middle one point? (the flanker task)
- Go / No-Go: tap the right shapes, hold back for the wrong.
- Schulte Table: find the numbers in order, fast.
- Spot the Change, Odd One Out, Count the Dots and Track the Ball.
Focus mode
Focus mode is three calm minutes: a minute of breathing to a ring that grows and shrinks (in for four seconds, out for six) over a soft soundscape, then two short attention games. It finishes with a link to Focus Pirates if you want a focus timer for the work itself.
Questions
Can games improve concentration?
You get better at the games with practice. As a warm-up they can help you settle into focused work, but they're not a treatment for attention problems.
Is Focus mode free?
Yes.
