About Clocktower Bakes
Pop on your apron at Clocktower Bakes, the cake shop under the town clock on Clocktower Square in Sunset Bay. Tip a flavour jar into the bowl and whisk it with circles of your finger, pour it into a tin and take it out of the oven when it's golden. Rub the icing over the top, then drag round the cake to smooth it as the turntable turns. The piping bag is the star: trace the dotted guide to pipe a border, a zigzag, a heart, a star or the birthday age, and hold on the marks to squeeze rosettes. Add the toppers (strawberries, cherries, candles, chocolate buttons, sugar stars, sprinkles) and hand it over in a ribboned box, matching the picture on the customer's order. Cupcakes get a swirl each with a little circle, and spares go in the window for walk-in customers. The menu grows through the week to birthday cakes, heart cakes and rosette cakes, and on Saturdays a birthday party orders a cake and six cupcakes. Play Relaxed with no clock, take the Daily, decorate your own cakes in the Design studio, spend your wages on a stand mixer and a bigger oven, and keep your stars and badges in the Job Passport. Made for everyone from about six up, with read-aloud, full keyboard play and reduced motion.
