Gridwork template

Put a row for each day of the trip: the date, the place, the plan, the cost of where you stay and what you expect to spend. The totals show the whole trip and the cost per day.

=D7+E7gives $715.00. - B9:
=B8/COUNTA(A2:A6)gives $143.00. COUNTA: how many cells aren’t empty.
Tips
- Add a column for bookings (confirmation numbers) so everything is in one place.

Questions
How is the cost per day worked out?
The trip cost (where you stay plus spending) is divided by the number of dates in the list, counted with COUNTA.
Can I plan in another currency?
Select the money columns and choose Format, Number, Currency to show euros, yen or any of the others. The sums don’t change.
Can I open it in Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes: in Gridwork, More then Save as Excel (.xlsx) keeps the formulas. It’s free, with no account, and the file stays on your device until you save it.
