Cricket darts rules: how to play and score
Cricket is played on the numbers 15 to 20 and the bull. Hit a number three times (a double counts as two, a treble as three) to close it. Once you have closed a number, hits on it score points until your opponent closes it too. The first player to close everything with as many points or more wins.
The numbers that count
Only seven targets matter: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and the bull. Everything else scores nothing. Each player has a column on the scoreboard for those seven.
Marks and closing
Each hit is a mark: a single is one mark, a double two, a treble three. Three marks on a number close it (it's drawn as a slash, a cross, then a circled cross on a chalkboard). On the bull, the outer bull is one mark and the bullseye two. You can close the numbers in any order.
Scoring points
Once you have closed a number and your opponent hasn't, any more marks on it score its value in points (a treble 20 scores 60). When both players have closed a number it's dead: nobody scores on it any more. So the game is a race between closing numbers to stop your opponent scoring and scoring on numbers they haven't closed.
How to win
You win when you have closed all seven targets and have as many points or more than your opponent. If you've closed everything but are behind, you have to keep scoring on numbers they haven't closed until you catch up. In Harbour Darts Cricket is a Pro game against Big Dave or a friend.
