About Pizza Palace
Tie on your apron at Pizza Palace, the pizzeria with the spinning slice on the roof in Sunset Bay, and fire up the wood oven. Draw circles on the ball of dough and it stretches out to the ring: wide, steady circles work best, too thin and it tears, too thick and it bakes doughy. Spiral the tomato sauce on from the middle out, then add the toppings the ticket shows, piece by piece: a Margherita with basil, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, olives, ham and pineapple, and later half-and-half pizzas, "extra cheese on one side" and "no olives". Slide it into the wood-fired oven: three slots, each with its own timer, and the hot spot by the fire, so turn it once half-way and both halves bake evenly. Get it just right and the crust blooms with leopard spots, the perfect bake. Then slice it into even pieces (every cut is scored for precision), box it and serve it. Customers sit at the counter and regulars come back for their usual, while the phone rings with delivery orders and the 30-minute promise ticks down, through the lunch rush and the dinner rush. Every shift adds a recipe to your recipe book and pays Sunset Bay dollars for oven stones, a bigger cutting board and a speedy scooter. Play Relaxed with no clock, take the Daily, and keep your stars and badges in the Job Passport.
