About Sunset Bay Rail
You're a driver on Sunset Bay's new line, the railway across Fare Frenzy's city. It runs from the buffers at the Old Port up the west side of town, along behind Union Station, up the Bayside bank onto the viaduct over East Avenue and the roundabout, down across the Seafront and on to the airport. Work the power and brake handle notch by notch, read the signals and the speed boards, slow for the curves and the level crossings (their barriers come down and the traffic waits), and bring the train to a stand with its front right on the marker. Open the doors on the platform's side, watch everyone get on, close the doors and leave on the green, on time. The physics are exact, so a run is the same on every device: a heavy brake takes time to bite, the Bayside bank slows a train that coasts, and wet rails make the wheels slip and slide. Three stars a run: on time, on the marker, and smooth (keep the coffee in its cup). Easy brakes for you, Normal shows the braking curve, Real is just you and the signals, with a vigilance button. Six runs cover the whole line, and the Daily timetable is the same for everyone. Spend your wages on a cab radio, sand boxes and a softer seat, and keep your stars and badges in the Job Passport; drive up to Union Station in Fare Frenzy to start a shift, and your passengers want taxis when you're in. Pro adds the Express, a 900-tonne container freight, the last train at night, the storm run and liveries. Made for everyone from about six up, with read-aloud, full keyboard play and reduced motion.
