About Sunset Bay Salon
Pick up your scissors at Sunset Bay Salon, the bright little salon on the Seafront Promenade with a big window on the beach. Every customer walks in with a picture of the look they want: a chin-length bob, long layers, a pixie cut, a short back and sides, a buzz cut, a fringe, bouncy curls, a spiky top or a round afro. Rub the shampoo in until it foams and rinse every bubble away with the shower, then cut: the scissors trim each strand right where you move them across the hair, and the clippers take everything under them down to the guard you pick, from 3 mm to 19 mm. The hair is real-looking hair on real-looking people, strand by strand, and it shows: straight, wavy, curly and coily hair, grey and blonde and black, and the ends that still need a snip glow so you can see where to cut. Paint on colour all over, dip-dye the tips or add a bright streak, blow-dry it (keep the dryer moving, it gets warm), then style it with the comb, the curling wand, the straightener or gel. Turn the chair to see the sides and the back, have a chat when they're nervous, and hold up the mirror for their reaction and three stars for looking like the picture, being gentle and being quick. Free style lets you make any look you like, and every customer gives you a before-and-after picture to share. Play Relaxed with snipping that snaps to the picture, take the Daily, spend your wages on sharp scissors and a turbo dryer, and keep your stars and badges in the Job Passport.
