Even Split is a free group expense splitter for trips, flats and dinners. Add what each person paid and split it equally, by exact amounts, percentages, shares or itemised receipt lines with tax and tip. It handles several payers on one bill, multiple currencies with rates you set, and recurring costs like rent.
Balances show who owes what, and the settle-up plan uses the fewest transfers possible. There is no account: the whole group is packed into a link you send to the group chat, and when someone sends back their version the two are merged.
The group's people and expenses are compressed into the link itself. Open a link to join the group; if you already have it, new expenses are added, edits keep the latest version and deletions stick.
Even Split nets everyone's balance, then finds the smallest number of payments that clears every debt, so a group of five rarely needs more than four transfers.
Yes. Each expense can be in its own currency. Set the exchange rate to the group's currency by hand in the Group tab; nothing is fetched from the internet.
