About Sunset Bay Bridges
You're the engineer at the Harbour works in Sunset Bay, Fare Frenzy's city, and the city needs crossings. Each level is a gap: a basin in the Old Port, an inlet on the Seafront, the gorge behind the castle. Lay a road across, then hold it up with wooden beams, steel, rope and piers on the rocks, within the budget. Then test it: the taxi drives over first, then a fire engine, the bus, the pizza scooters and the cement mixer. Every beam glows from green to red with the stress it carries, and a bridge that's too weak sags, creaks and falls into the water (the driver pops up in a rubber ring, and you try again with the bridge as you left it). The physics are exact, so a bridge behaves the same on every device, and every level comes with a bridge we've proven gets everyone across. Three stars a level: everyone across, within the budget, and the inspector's pass, when no beam carries more than 80% of its strength. Twenty-four levels across the Old Port, the Seafront and Castle Hill teach triangles, piers, ropes, arches, steel and ramps; the Daily gap is the same for everyone and proven crossable. Relaxed mode shows the stress from the start and shows you a bridge that works. Spend your wages on a survey drone and a bigger yard, and keep your stars and badges in the Job Passport. Finish the Old Port and your own bridge goes up on the beach by the Fish Market in Fare Frenzy, with your name on a plaque. Pro adds Lake Mere and the River Mouth, with steel cable, towers, wind, boats that need to pass under and the Union Station train, and a level editor. Made for everyone from about six up, with read-aloud, full keyboard play and reduced motion.
