About Sunset Bay Power
You're the engineer on call at Sunset Bay Power on a stormy night, and the storm has knocked out the lights. You look down on the real downtown of Sunset Bay, Fare Frenzy's city, from above at night: its towers, its streets and its landmarks, dark where the power's out. The storm has spun the switch boxes at the crossroads, so tap them to turn them and send the power from the station's main line along the streets. A street with power lights every block along it, as long as the line can carry it: a small line carries power for two homes, a big line for four and a main line for eight, so a tower block needs power from more than one street, and a line that's carrying all it can flashes red. Poles are down too: tap the spanner and the repair truck drives over to stand them back up. And keep the hospital lit first: it's running on its own generator, and the generator won't last for ever. Every block you bring back lights up window by window while the street lights run down the road, and when the last one comes on the storm clears, the moon comes out and the whole city lights up. Thirteen handmade storms in the city book teach you as you go, from Union Station to the Grand Stadium, Hotel Royale and the whole of downtown; seeded storms make a new puzzle every time (and the generator proves every one can be lit), and the Daily storm is the same for everyone. Three stars a storm: every light on, the hospital kept on, and a tidy job within the par. Relaxed mode has no clock and free hints. Spend your wages on a faster truck and a bigger generator, and keep your stars and badges in the Job Passport. On a Storm warning day in Fare Frenzy, a blackout downtown sends you here to bring its lights back. Made for everyone from about six up, with read-aloud, full keyboard play and reduced motion.
