C2C graph maker: draw a corner-to-corner crochet chart
Corner-to-corner (C2C) crochet works little blocks of three double crochet on the diagonal, so a C2C graph is a grid of squares read in diagonals from one corner. Draw yours below; each diagonal is listed with its colours in the order you work them.

Reading a C2C graph
Start at the bottom right corner with one block. Each diagonal row adds a block at both ends until a side reaches the width of the chart, then that side stops growing while the other keeps going, and finally both shrink to the last corner.
Odd diagonals are worked going up, even ones coming down. The list under the chart gives each diagonal's colours in that order: "4 cream, 2 navy, 6 cream".
More in the app
Stitchbay's Charts tab does bigger charts, more colours, photos turned into charts, knitting colourwork and tapestry crochet, and steps you through a chart diagonal by diagonal as you work.
Questions
How big is a C2C block?
With aran yarn and a 5 mm hook a block is about 2.5 cm, so a 40 × 50 chart makes a blanket about 100 × 125 cm.
