How to make a free online order form
An online order form lets customers say what they want, how many, and when, without a phone call. Website Maker has an Order form template: numbers for each item, collection or delivery, the day, and a box for anything else. It’s free, with no account, and each order arrives in your email, WhatsApp or text messages.
What an order form needs
- Each item with its price, and a number box for how many, so nobody has to type “two loaves please”.
- Collection or delivery, and an address box for delivery.
- The day they want it, with how much notice you need under it.
- Their name and phone, so you can confirm or say when it’s ready.
- A box for anything else: allergies, a message on a cake.
The Order form template has all of these. Change the items and prices to yours, and take out anything you don’t need.
Make yours, step by step
- Open the Order form template. There’s nothing to sign up for.
- Change the name at the top to your business, and the line under the heading.
- Open the form and tap each item to change its name and price. For a number, set the lowest and highest people can order.
- Under Answers come to you by, choose Email, WhatsApp or Text and type your address or number.
- Pick a theme and a colour, then tap Share for the link and a QR code.
How orders arrive
When a customer presses Send, their own email app, WhatsApp or messages app opens with the order written out, one line an answer, ready to send to you. They press send there, so the order comes from their own address or number and you can reply straight away.
Your phone: 07700 900111
Sourdough loaf, £4.50: 2
Collection or delivery?: Collection from the shop
Which day?: 2026-11-14
Before Send, the page checks the answers: a missing name, a phone number that isn’t one, or ordering more than the most you allow.
Keep every order in one table
Each order is its own email or message. To see them together, open Form replies in Website Maker’s More menu and paste the emails or the WhatsApp chat. It makes a table with a row an order and a column a question, spots any order sent twice, and opens it in Gridwork or downloads it as a CSV file for Excel or Google Sheets.
What it can’t do
The form works without a server, so it can’t take payments or files, and the orders aren’t collected anywhere for you: they come to your inbox or WhatsApp one by one. For payment, take it on collection, or send a payment link when you confirm.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes: the Order form template, every kind of question, email, WhatsApp and text, Form replies and the spreadsheet are free. Website Maker Pro ($2.99 once) adds more pages, more themes and fonts, no Yuzool line and a short link with visitor stats.
Do customers need an account?
No. They fill in the page and press Send. Nor do you.
Does Yuzool see the orders?
No. The order goes from the customer’s own email or WhatsApp straight to yours.
Can I print a QR code for my stall?
Yes. Share shows a QR code you can save and print. A short link (Pro) keeps the QR code small and lets you change the form without reprinting.
