How to make a WhatsApp order form
A WhatsApp order form lets customers fill in a page, then sends the order to your WhatsApp, written out and ready. Website Maker’s Order form template replies by WhatsApp: when a customer presses Send, WhatsApp opens on their phone with the order to you, and they tap send. It’s free, needs no account and works with an ordinary WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business number.
How it works
The form uses WhatsApp’s own “click to chat” link. Send opens WhatsApp with your number and the order already typed, so the customer only has to press send. There’s no WhatsApp Business API, no bot and no monthly fee, and nothing goes through Yuzool. The order looks like this:

Make yours, step by step
- Open the Order form template. It already replies by WhatsApp.
- Under Answers come to you by, type your WhatsApp number with its country code and no 0 in front, for example 44 7700 900123 for a UK mobile.
- Change the items, prices and questions to yours.
- Tap Share and post the link in your WhatsApp status, your Instagram bio or a group, or print the QR code.
From a chat to a list of orders
Each order is a message in your chats. To list them, export the chat (Export chat, in the chat’s menu or its contact info, without media) or copy the messages, and paste them into More › Form replies in Website Maker. Each order ends with a line starting --- yuzool form, which holds every answer, so the table comes out right even when a customer adds a message of their own. Open it in Gridwork or download it as a CSV file.
Questions
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes, with the WhatsApp Business app or an ordinary WhatsApp number. It doesn’t need the WhatsApp Business API.
What if the customer is on a computer?
The link opens WhatsApp on the computer if they have it, or WhatsApp Web.
Is it free?
Yes, forms are free in Website Maker. Website Maker Pro ($2.99 once) adds more pages, themes and fonts, no Yuzool line and a short link with visitor stats.
Can customers send a photo with the order?
Not through the form, but they can add one in WhatsApp before they send it.
