Website Maker guide
A Google Forms alternative without an account
If you want a simple form but don’t want to sign in to Google or make an account anywhere, Website Maker makes one in your browser. It has short and long answers, email, phone, numbers, dates, times, drop-downs, choose one, tick boxes and yes or no. Answers come to your own email, WhatsApp or texts, and Form replies turns them into a table.
How it’s different from Google Forms
Google Forms keeps every answer in your Google account and shows you a summary. Website Maker keeps nothing on a server: the form travels in its own link, and each answer is an email or message to you. That means:
- No account for you or for the people filling it in.
- Answers by WhatsApp or text, not just email, which suits clubs, small shops and families.
- Nothing stored by Yuzool: the answers go straight from the person to you.
- One by one: answers arrive as separate emails or messages, and you paste them into Form replies to see them together.
Make a form, step by step
- Open Website Maker and pick a template under Forms: Order form, Booking request, Job application, Volunteer sign-up or Feedback.
- Open the form block. Tap a question to change its words, its kind, its choices or whether it’s required; drag ☰ to reorder; Add a question for more.
- Choose where answers go: Email, WhatsApp or Text.
- Tap Share for the link and a QR code.
Seeing all the answers
Every answer ends with one tidy line, starting --- yuzool form, that holds all the answers in order. Open More › Form replies, paste the emails (from Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail) or a WhatsApp chat, and you get a table: a row a reply, a column a question, with repeats spotted. Open as a spreadsheet sends it to Gridwork, or download it as CSV for Excel or Google Sheets.
What it can’t do
Without a server there are no file uploads (an email link can’t carry an attachment, so ask people to attach a photo to the email before they send it), no automatic summary charts, and no one place where every answer is collected for you. If you need those, Google Forms or a paid form service is the better choice.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes, forms are free in Website Maker, with every kind of question and every way to reply. Website Maker Pro ($2.99 once) adds more pages, themes and fonts, no Yuzool line and a short link with visitor stats.
Can people answer anonymously?
By email or WhatsApp the answer comes from their own address or number, so it isn’t anonymous. Say so on the form if it matters.
Can I make a form part of a bigger site?
Yes. The form is a block, so you can add it to any page of a Website Maker site.
Do required questions work?
Yes. Send waits until every required question is answered, and points out an email or phone number that doesn’t look right.
