An App Store launch checklist should reduce last-minute decisions, not create a second project nobody finishes. The most useful checklist follows the path from a person discovering the app to deciding whether it is worth downloading.

Write the promise before the screenshots

Start with one clear problem and the person who has it. Your title, subtitle, first screenshot and product page should agree about what the app does. If each asset tells a different story, more screenshots will not fix the confusion.

Prepare the store assets as a sequence

Screenshots should answer questions in order: what is it, how does it work, why is it better for me and what happens after I download it? Keep the first frame understandable without a microscope.

Research the search language

Use the words people use for the job, not only the internal name of your feature. Group keywords by intent and make sure the page can actually satisfy the query. Relevance matters more than stuffing a long list into metadata.

Plan the first week after approval

Prepare release notes, support links, analytics and a small list of launch destinations before the review completes. The first week is useful for learning, not only celebrating. Watch what people do and where they stop.

The launch is not one announcement. It is the beginning of a product page, support and learning rhythm.
