About The Royal Palm

The Royal Palm is a walk-around 3D casino on Sunset Bay's seafront: walk in through the revolving doors in a tuxedo (or an evening dress), under crystal chandeliers and across the red-and-gold carpet. Order a cocktail or a mocktail from Marco at the bar and make small talk with the regulars, Vivienne at the end of the bar included, with every line spoken. Play blackjack at six-deck tables, three slot machines (a classic Lucky 777, a five-reel video slot and a progressive jackpot), European roulette with a real wheel, and Texas hold'em against the regulars in the private room. Every game uses real rules and honest odds: each slot shows its paytable and return to player, there are no near-miss tricks, and the poker players never see your cards. A few shady characters and small stories happen on the night: a loan shark with a marker, a card counter, a pickpocket on the slot floor. Opened from the store you play with a daily wallet of practice chips; arrive by taxi in Fare Frenzy and you play with the cash you earned driving, with a cap on what you can buy in, win or lose a visit.
